People looking forward to an international travel aboard flights of British Airways will get more options and choice of routes from summers of 2014. This airline has recently announced that it will extend the number of its routes and their frequencies with its new aircraft. It has recently added four Boeing 787s and three Airbus A380s, which have taken its current fleet to over 260 models. As a result of induction of these new models, this carrier is also hopeful to start operating to Washington from September 2014. Some of these aircraft are already in operation to Hong Kong and Los Angeles on a trial basis. Apart from this, these will also start their services to Johannesburg from February onwards according to the reports.
New Routes in 2014
British Airways, the flag carrier of the United Kingdom, has been in the news for increasing its reach across the globe in the recent past. It is one of those names in the aviation industry that offers services to all the six inhabited continents across the world along with Qantas, Emirates, Air France, Etihad and few others. Travellers will also be able to make a British Airways booking to fly to Hyderabad from March. This year will witness a significant increase in its destinations with scheduled services to Chengdu, Philadelphia and Calgary from May, June and July, respectively. In this aspect, daily flights to Haneda, Tokyo will be offered from May that operates five days a week currently. The timings of this service will also be shifted to make it more accessible and comfortable for passengers.
