AirAsia Wins Accolades at the Prestigious 2013 World Airline Awards

AirAsia, which is making inroads into the Indian commercial aviation industry, recently won the award for the Best Low-cost Airline in the world as well as the Best Low-cost Airline in Asia at the prestigious 2013 World Airline Awards. The affiliate carrier of AirAsia – AirAsia X too received the Best Low-Cost Airline in the world – Premium Class and Best Low-Cost Airline in the world – Premium Class Seat titles. These titles were awarded at the Paris Air Show in Le Bourget in Paris. AirAsia is expected to starts its services in India by the end of this year, and with coming of this carrier, expect to see a dip in the pricing of air tickets. All in all, there were two hundred airlines from almost over 160 countries that took part in this, and they were judged on the quality standards of more than 40 areas of airline services and front-line products.
